Occupied home staging services start with a free staging walkthrough. Our team takes this first meeting as an opportunity to learn more about our clients and their needs, and start creating a plan that will bring the highest return for their investment. For occupied homes, sellers will hire the stager to do the work for them and the stager will use the homeowners' personal furniture and accessories to highlight the best features of their home. JRS&D may rearrange some of the furniture and assist sellers to declutter the different spaces that need more attention. Some extra furniture or neutral accessories might be needed to showcase specific rooms or areas of the house. Once the staging date has been selected, clients will receive an estimate that will include a written report with a check list of recommendations. The estimate is valid for 15 days, the initial investment includes the house staged for 45 days, and rental is available after that period for an extra fee. A 20% deposit is required to save the date and to receive the written report. The remaining 80% is due 48 hours prior staging day. A staging agreement will be signed on the same day the deposit is made, and the countdown starts until staging day. Our team will work with clients to make sure they are comfortable with the changes, and at the same time ensure that the house will stand out in the neighborhood.
